Here are the standings for the survey as of Tuesday.
  • Respondents: 14
  • Ahead: Colorado River, Marble Canyon
Comments:
  • They are all absolutely gorgeous. It is so hard to pick favorites. I think they are about the best I have EVER seen. Thanks so much for sharing these.
  • I love the Pine Valley Chapel. We have a cottage in Pine Valley, we visit the chapel every time we're down there.
  • Very nice.
  • I love your work!!!
  • There's not one of these paintings that I don't like. It was hard to narrow it to three favorites. Take for instance, the Pine Valley Chapel is a beautiful painting, but the subject matter isn't as appealing to me as some of the others. I'm so glad to see this site and it's beautifully done.
  • They are all beautiful. I wish I could paint!
  • Hey Frank, you rock! It's amazing how well you're painting nowadays, not that you ever were less than a huge talent!
  • too bad the mountain lion one isnt still around.. redo?

Our goal is 100 respondents. Please take a minute to take this this survey and suggest it to everyone you know!

Introducing Frank Irvin Fisher

Architect, Artist, Sculptor. Frank Fisher alway had an interest in art. As a child he would draw people, animals, and landscapes.
He didn't have an opportunity to study art until entering college, studing art at Souther Utah University, Brigham Young University, Long Beach State University. His artistic interests led to full time career as an Architect, studying at California State Polytechnic College, and University of Utah, however, he has always maintained and interest in painting asculpture, and has dev otged more time and energy to that persuit of late.
He continues to express his deep love of the western outdoors in various mediums. His favorites are Oils, and watercolors, but also uses stone and acrylics to express his subjects. Because of his architectural background, he often finds buildings becoming part of the landscape.
His love of the clear blue skies, the deep shadows of our unique desert and mountain landscapes, and flora and fauna that live within, continues to push him to express how light interacts with these subjects to make them special to all of us who live here in this amazing area. Lately his outings have taken him to Zion National Park for Plien Air Painting in Oils.
